TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

As stated below:

• The promoter is Business of Golf Magazine.

• The competition is open to anyone aged 18 years or older with the exception of employees and marketing agents of Business of Golf Magazine, Eagle Canyon Golf & Lifestyle Estate, Blueberry Hill Business hotel and their immediate families, or anyone otherwise connected with the judging of the competition.

• There is no entry fee and no purchase required to enter this competition.

• By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his / her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

• In order to have a valid entry, entrants must have filled in the above form correctly.

• Business of Golf Magazine reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice, in the event of an anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside of their control.

• Entrants will be notified of any changes to the competition as soon as possible by Business of Golf Magazine.

• Business of Golf Magazine is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant, by any third party connected with this competition.

 

The prize is as follows:​

• 3 nights’ accommodation for 4 people sharing (including breakfast) in 2 separate rooms at the luxury 4 star Blueberry Hill Business Hotel

• 2 rounds of golf including golf carts for 2 or 4 people, courtesy of Eagle Canyon Golf & Lifestyle Estate

 

The above accommodation bookings exclude travel costs, all extras and or any items of a personal nature, which will be for the prize-winner's own account.

• The prize will be valid from the 1st of January 2023 to the 30th of November 2023, and will be subject to availability.

• The prize is only valid from a Monday to a Thursday and cannot be redeemed during peak seasons, school holidays or public holidays.

• No travel options are provided for the winner and both he or her and any guests must make their own travel arrangements.

• The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.

• The prize is not transferable.

• Any guest playing at Eagle Canyon must be in possession of a valid handicap.

• The redemption of the prize is subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize without giving notice.

• The winner will be announced on the Eagle Canyon competition post on Business of Golf Magazine's Facebook page, as well as on this page in January 2023, and will be notified by email and/or Direct Message (DM) on Facebook within 7 working days of the competition’s closing date.

• If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner.

• Business of Golf Magazine will notify the winner of how the prize can be redeemed.

• Business of Golf Magazine's decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition, will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

• The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

• The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material related to the competition.

• Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [RSA] data protection legislation.

• Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of all the competition’s terms and conditions by each entrant.

• This competition is not in any way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or any other Social Network.

• Entrants are providing their information to Business of Golf Magazine, Eagle Canyon Golf & Lifestyle Estate and Blueberry Hill Business Hotel.
